Why Mail Delivery is Not Suggested in WOW?
There are currently three delivery ways in World of Warcraft, which are F2F(face to face), AH(Auction House) and Mail. While I guess most customers have nothiced that almost all wow sites only offer face to face and ah ways, but not e-mail way. Since e-mail is the most convenient way to do delivery, why sellers refuse it?
As we all know that the e-mail is not instant between non-battle net friends, it may last 30 mins- 1 hour to receive. During this time of waiting, Blizzard is inverstigating the source of the e-mail, which is not good for both customers and us. The risk is that once Blizzard find out it is an out-game trade, the e-mail could be blocked, thus, some customers may fail to receive the gold in e-mail.
In this case, we highly suggest customers to go face to face or Auction House way to finish the transaction. Of course, the most secure way is AH, as it is random trade and no source to be found. Almost no customers been warned by AH trade, but it once happened to those face to face trade.
Usually, for order over 100k, we highly suggest AH to process the delivery, as it is the most safe way and customers dont need to be online all the time to wait. We will cover the 6% AH fee for all customers to ensure no one will suffer any loss through AH trade. For order below 100k, it would be ok to go face to face if you really need the gold fast.
